My doctor found a lump on my breast, my mammography is scheduled for tuesday. What should i expect? - mammography for breast cancer

In 29 years with no children, my mother has breast cancer, my grandmother, and she died. I have to smoke, what are my chances of getting cancer? As doctors in a mammogram? Is it painful?

The NACC sorry that you are probably in the family and a lump in the breast, breast cancer more. If the cancer is a good thing that your doctor is now or later. And if a mammogram the breast is between an X-ray platform and the bridge and put pressure on them. It can be painful, but worth it in the end if it is cancer. My best wishes for you.
This page probably explains better than I do.

I had a mammogram a year ago. I was 15 and I am now paragraph 17 Can not help much in other matters, but the pain is very unpleasant, but it goes fast. Small breasts as beautiful as anything. I smiled and simply gone. I hope that everything goes well, you'll be in my thoughts. Good luck.
