A mobile broadband adapter is a separate wireless adapter. You need a WiFi adapter. I have not seen any size, but are of the chip. The most I've seen, is based stick, or a base or a direct connection to your computer.

I recommend a B | G | N wireless adapter, if you have places that networks of nerve Most places have to go tend to 54G, like Starbucks, but with the support it extended N-series.

Actually, yes. Depending on your phone, of course. If you have an iPhone or a BlackBerry, as I do. I make the BlackBerry Pearl 8120, and has integrated WiFi to a wireless network. If you are a BlackBerry, locate the icon of the connections, you will see THN Wireless. or wireless setup of new and provides step-STP. I have the BB data plan that I had my cell phone antenna, but if I was not a signal, you can always connect to a wireless router in range.

VZAccess Manager for networks such as Verizon and Dell Control Point Connection Manager is able to recognize and utilize both the broadband adapter and a WiFi adapter, almost giving the illusion of an access point to connect to different types of networks. However, you do not need a separate device for each connection. The software gives you a central location to manage each connection.
